Bologna’s Guglielmo Marconi airport will be closed for five days, precisely from 16 to 21 September 2020.
During this period no flight will be able to depart or land in Bologna.
The reasons can be traced back to a periodic maintenance program for the flight infrastructures, which will see the remaking of a large section of the runway pavement and some junctions, including horizontal signs and luminous devices.
The airlines have already been informed and will be able to cancel flights or operate on alternative stopovers.
The airport itself advises all travelers to “contact their airline directly for flight details”.
