For today, the Bologna Museums Institution is organizing some visits to get to know the wealth of Bologna more closely.
Guided tour of the Industrial Heritage Museum – via della Beverara, 123
At 19:00, today 17 September, a meeting to rediscover, through exhibits, reconstructions and working models, the history and functioning of the silk mill machine that made Bologna famous between the 15th and 18th centuries.
The appointment is the latest in a cycle of 3 evening meetings to deepen some curious aspects of the oldest productive history of Bologna and its territory: from the innovative use of water resources, to the complex organization of the Bolognese silk factory between the 15th and 18th centuries , to the history and manufacturing of one of the most famous Bolognese products: mortadella.
Admission: museum ticket (full € 5 | reduced € 3 | free for Culture Card holders)
Reservation required: the request must be sent by 1pm on the day before the meeting to firstname.lastname@example.org (indicate name and surname, number of participants and a contact telephone number). Booking confirmation will be given by email.
The meeting will take place only when 10 participants are reached.
Payment at the cash desk is possible only by cards or debit cards; it is mandatory to maintain an interpersonal safety distance of at least 1 meter and wear the mask for the entire time spent in the facility (the use of a surgical mask is recommended, while the use of a mask with an exhalation valve is not recommended). It is not possible to enter the museum in the presence of flu symptoms or with a body temperature above 37.5 degrees.
Guided tour of the Certosa di Bologna – via della Certosa, 18
At 8:30 pm, again today, a visit is scheduled in collaboration with the Civic Museum of the Risorgimento at the monumental cemetery of the Certosa.
Nothing is accidental in Certosa: even the smallest details of a monument or statue have their own precise meaning. A walk through cloisters, loggias and halls; discovering skulls, lions, griffins, sphinxes and coiled snakes.

Meeting at the main entrance of the Certosa (church courtyard), in via della Certosa 18, Bologna.
The group will consist of a limited number of people; mandatory masks to be kept correctly on the face for the duration of the guided tour; it is mandatory to maintain a safety distance of 1 meter from other participants who do not belong to the same family unit; payment by bank transfer to the account of the Didasco Cultural Association (Banca di Bologna, IBAN IT49K0888302407033000332468) or with cash delivered in a sealed envelope with the name and surname of all participants; duration of the visit 1 hour.
In case of fever higher than 37.5 °, cold and / or cough it is not possible to attend the visit.
Admission: € 10 per participant (for each paying admission two euros will be donated for the enhancement of the Certosa).
