The book, defined by Allison Grimaldi Donahue – writer and translator guest of the Nuovo Forno del Pane – as a “novel by a poet, or even a novel made up of prose poems”, tells the story of Hazel Brown, a woman who wakes up one morning in a hotel room discovering that he had written the complete works of Charles Baudelaire. The protagonist moves through a world of textures and perfumes, thanks to a writing that takes on a tangible form, showing how language can be transformed into a tool for the creation of one’s individuality.
