The Bolognese edition of the Orient Festival was canceled due to “the unfounded fear of Coronavirus infection”.
The decision was communicated on the Facebook profile of the international event dedicated to oriental cultures, peoples and traditions.
Therefore, the event scheduled in the Bologna Fiere pavilions on the weekends from 14th to 16th and from 21st to 23rd February, will be postponed to a later date.
The organizers of the fair say they are very sorry because it is “a defeat for culture, knowledge, integration, passion and friendship between peoples”.
Meanwhile, the termoscanners will arrive at Marconi airport shortly: it has been decided to extend the controls to all flights at Italian airports, including European ones but excluding national ones.
