It is again possible to return to visit the Anatomical Theater of the Archiginnasio.
Hours: Monday to Friday from 2pm to 6pm, closed on Saturday and Sunday.
Access is allowed to a maximum of 10 people every 10 minutes.

It is not possible to visit the Stabat Mater room for refurbishment of the lighting system.
The Anatomical Theater is built in wood carved by Antonio Levante in 1637 for the anatomical lessons by the Bolognese architect Antonio Paolucci known as the Levanti, a pupil of the Carraccis.
The room was built in fir wood and decorated with two orders of statues depicting twelve famous doctors below (Hippocrates, Galen, Fabrizio Bartoletti, Girolamo Sbaraglia, Marcello Malpighi, Carlo Fracassati, Mondino de ‘Liuzzi, Bartolomeo da Varignana, Pietro d ‘Argelata, Costanzo Varolio, Giulio Cesare Aranzio, Gaspare Tagliacozzi) and above twenty of the most famous anatomists of the Bologna studio.
