The first edition of the Bologna Boat Show was inaugurated last weekend.
The Bologna Exhibition, which will last 9 days and will be open to the public every day from 10 to 18.30 with an entrance ticket of 10 euros, is a guest at Bologna Fiere in halls 19-21-22, with over 40 exhibitors, more than 130 boats and 24,800 square meters of surface area.
Until 25 October, the fair offers an area dedicated to boats between 5 and 18 meters as well as engines, accessories and services from the entire nautical supply chain.
All the major production yards of the dinghy segment are present, but there is no lack of typical Campania goiters and motorboats. Also on display are electric marine engines and numerous boating accessories and services stands.
The event calendar also includes the Blue Award ceremony (Friday 23 at 5 pm), the awards to characters and figures who have enhanced the sea planet with their work.
The winners will receive both the work of the master sculptor Lello Esposito, depicting the Torre degli Asinelli surrounded by two waves, which recalls the SNB claim “Bologna is tinged with blue”, and the plaque in marmorino (powders from Lecce and Tuscan marble) made by the Apulian Le Bomboniere di Angie.
Among the shipyards of yachts and boats present, as many as 20, the names of Rio Yacht, Rizzardi and Salpa stand out, while for the production of gozzo boats and rafts there are some leading names such as: Spx, Italiamarine, Salpa, Altamarea, 2Bar, Oromarine, Nautica Esposito and Cantieri Mimì. In the engine segment, the focus is on Mitek electric motors which produce a reduction of up to 90% of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, in line with the environmental philosophy with which the organizers will increasingly open up to the world of sailing.
