The Bologna Museums Institution tells, through its collections, the entire history of the metropolitan area of Bologna, from the first prehistoric settlements to the artistic, economic, scientific and productive dynamics of contemporary society. A single path spread throughout the territory, divided into thematic areas.
Archeology, history, ancient, modern and contemporary art, music, industrial heritage and technical culture are the major issues that can be addressed, also through transversal paths to the various locations.

“La Storia #aportechiuse” proposes a schedule of Facebook live shows that alternate different voices to share art and history together, opportunities to spend a few minutes in company and offer ideas to deepen from home events, people, works of art of the our country.
At the end of each live broadcast, users can talk to the author of the video contribution in the comments on the video itself. Texts, documents and in-depth videos are indicated by specific posts.
The project is carried out by the Civic Museum of the Risorgimento in collaboration with 8cento APS, the Didasco Association and the Amici della Certosa di Bologna Association.

“Paris is in full revolution”
Online conference with the historian Andrea Spicciarelli, curator of the exhibition “Paris is in full revolution” at the Civic Museum of the Risorgimento.
On March 18, one hundred and fifty years ago, from the aspirations of social renewal of the Parisian proletariat, from the reaction against the monarchical-conservative tendencies of the Versailles government led by Adolphe Thiers, from the patriotic indignation towards the surrender to the Prussian invader, the Commune arose. in Paris: «the most important episode of struggle of the working class before the Soviet revolution of 1917». The exhibition presents documents, relics and illustrations concerning the Emilian participation in the months of the Communard experience, in particular of those Garibaldi volunteers already distinguished in the ranks of the Army of the Vosges of Giuseppe Garibaldi, the only body of the French army that was managed to defeat the Germans on the battlefield.
The exhibition is linked to the contents of the Bologna History and Memory portal, where you can consult further news and learn more through videos and documents.
