The Guglielmo Marconi airport of Bologna will be closed from 11 to 21 September 2020.
In order to be able to carry out the work in compliance with the new regulations, but with the aim of reducing the inconvenience to passengers as much as possible when the air traffic is presumed to have returned to normal, the company, as already communicated Airport Users Committee, has decided to bring the works forward to 11 September (at 06.00), with a deadline set for 21 September (at 02.00).
During this period, no flights may depart or land in Bologna.
The reasons are attributable to a periodic maintenance program of the flight infrastructures, which will see the reconstruction of a large section of the runway flooring and some connections, including road markings and lighting devices.
We remind you that during the aforementioned period, no flights can depart or land in Bologna.
Airlines, already informed, will be able to cancel flights or operate on alternative airports.
The airport itself advises all travelers to “contact their airline directly for flight details”.
