The Sardinian trumpeter Paolo Fresu will turn 60 on February 10 and Bologna will be the stage for a concert.
For the occasion, the Archiginnasio library will be the setting for an event that will be a journey through history and culture starting from the Stabat Mater room, passing through the Anatomical Theater and the Diciotto and Lettura rooms and also touching the foyers as well as the wide stairways of jurists and artists.
The party for the Sardinian trumpeter, under the banner “P60lo Fresu – Reading Music”, will therefore be celebrated in the Archiginnasio library which, for the occasion, will become a special theater, behind closed doors, as a symbol of the city that hosts the oldest university in the world.
Paolo Fresu, together with his artists, will give life to a story that will have the voice of Alessandro Bergonzoni.
The duration of the concert will be 60 minutes and will be accompanied by 60 words that Fresu has chosen as important in his artistic and human life.
The event will be available on 10 February in video version on Fresu’s YouTube channel but there is a strong interest – the organizers said – on the part of Rai5 for the transmission and inclusion on RaiPlay.
