Thursday 21 May 2020, the exhibition dedicated to street photography by the Parisian artist Robert Doisneau reopens in complete safety.
Palazzo Pallavicini is also preparing for the gradual exit from the lockdown, adopting all measures to ensure compliance with the rules on social distancing to protect the safety of visitors and its staff.
So from 21 May to 21 July 2020 (the exhibition has been extended) the doors of the Palace open to the public and the lights come back on the poetic images of the author of the most famous and discussed “kiss” in the history of photography, present among the 143 images on display.
You can again walk the prestigious staircase of Palazzo Pallavicini with contingent entrances, respecting the social distancing and with the lively suggestion addressed to all visitors to wear personal protective equipment to protect themselves and others.
The ROBERT DOISNEAU exhibition is the result of an ambitious 1986 project by Francine Deroudille and Annette Doisneau – the photographer’s daughters – who selected from 450,000 negatives, the images on display that tell us about the artist’s exciting autobiographical story.
