Emilia-Romagna too is following the indications of the Conference of the Regions as requested by the Fashion Federation of Italy, Emilia-Romagna, adopting a measure postponing the start of the summer sales, in an absolutely extraordinary way, on August 1st and for a maximum duration of sixty days.
In the previous weeks, the regional law had already been approved in which the suspension of the prohibition to make promotional sales the 30 days before the start of the sales is always arranged.
“In this phase 3 of the health emergency it is of fundamental importance – declares Marco Cremonini, President of the Fashion Federation Italy Emilia-Romagna – to restart consumption to guarantee liquidity for businesses: for this reason we are very satisfied that the Region has accepted our proposals to postpone the date of the summer sales and to suspend the ban on promotional sales in the thirty days prior to the start of the sales “.
“In shops in the fashion sector, the consumer will be able to find – in total health security – the assortment, the competence, the service, the emotions and also the convenience that has always differentiated traditional sales from online,” concludes Cremonini.
