The deadlines for participating in the two Dancin’Bo Site Specific and Dancin’Bo World Connection competitions have expired, a total of 164 videodance works competing for the third edition of the project signed by Vittoria Cappelli and Monica Ratti who presents fully online.
The winners will be presented during the awards ceremony that will be broadcast on the sport2u web TV, Tuesday 30 March at 9 pm and relaunched on the social pages of the partners involved in the project.
To decree the awarding of the prizes, a jury made up of 13 personalities from the world of dance, entrepreneurship, major realities and cultural institutions of the city of Bologna: Valentina Bonelli, Daniele Cipriani, Mario Coccetti, Daniele Del Pozzo, Giusella Finocchiaro, Jacopo Godani, Roberto Grandi, Fulvio Macciardi, Valentina Marini, Paolo Rossi Pisu, Silvana Spinacci Golinelli, Giovanni Trombetti and Renato Zanella.
In the splendid setting of the theater of Villa Aldrovandi Mazzacorati, the shooting of 4 episodes of Dance and Dances in Bologna, the television format directed by Valerio Polverari conceived to enhance and promote the different declinations of dance in Bologna, has just ended. The absolute protagonist of the 4 events will be Bologna, the most evocative places of art and culture, the architecture and monuments of the historic and contemporary city will be the backdrop to the story of the dancing city.
The Archiginnasio Library, the MAMbo – Museum of Modern Art of Bologna, the Archaeological Civic Museum, the Medieval Civic Museum, the Municipal Art Collections, the Sala Borsa, the Portico della Morte are some of the locations that hosted the performance by the guest dancers of Danza e Danze in Bologna.
Finally, there will be enchanting forays into the history of the city, 6 anecdotes between news and fantasy from Felsina to Morandi, from the Liber Paradisus to the grand ball in honor of Napoleon.
Short texts, edited by Micol Mazzeo interpreted by the students of the Bologna Theater School Alessandra Galante Garrone, which will provide a refined counterpoint to the conversations with the guests and the intensity of the videos.
