The MAMbo – Museum of Modern Art in Bologna officially opens the Nuovo Forno del Pane: the 12 selected artists take office and the project that redefines the identity of the museum takes center stage, making its spaces available to the creative community of Bologna.
The new layout of the Sala delle Ciminiere, revisited with the areas assigned to the artists to carry out their projects, will be presented to the press on Tuesday 14 July 2020 at 13.00.

The Nuovo Forno del Pane is an interdisciplinary production center that transforms the spaces of MAMbo traditionally intended for temporary exhibitions: no longer an exhibition area but a place of production, a creative community where art becomes bread for the mind and the museum is transformed into oven, incubator of creativity, space that Bologna offers to its artists to be reborn after this planetary emergency.
The project is carried out thanks to the support of the main partner UniCredit and to the Hera Group, Unipol Group and IMA partners.
The press conference will take place in presence for a limited number of participants, in compliance with anti Covid-19 security measures.
