The new six-month cycle of #wunderkammer, the museum of wonders, the annual festival of concerts, musical narrations and special visits promoted by the International Museum and Music Library of Bologna (Strada Maggiore 34) to get to know and enhance the exposed heritage, but especially the hidden one, from the museum and library collection and to discover its treasures “from very close”.
The initiative has in fact the objective of promoting knowledge of the permanent collections of musical, book and artistic goods among a wider public, through a single container in which different experiences are integrated – concerts, musical narrations, guided tours – carried out in collaboration with realities of the musical world operating in the area and beyond.
The third edition, scheduled until June 21, 2020, consists of a rich program of 33 events divided into four distinct thematic sections: How is it done? music seen from within; You change the visits you don’t expect; #wk musical narrations; Unusual music you don’t expect.
Numerous and important collaborations exist with Especially in the library (network of specialized libraries of Bologna and province), Athena Musica Association, Il Saggiatore Music Cultural Association, G.B. Martini from Bologna, Ancient Music Academy of Milan, Respighi Project, Nicola Ferroni, Kalendamaya – International Festival of Culture and Ancient Music, “Gli Invaghiti” Cultural Association, Camillo Caetani Foundation, Music Festival.
