Included in the official calendar of Art City Bologna 2023 on the occasion of ARTEFIERA, the exhibition
Ivan Dimitrov- a sculptor in Bologna represents a unique opportunity to tell the story of the Bulgarian artist
– Bolognese by adoption – from his first important achievements to today: from the sculptures of the 1970s
inspired by the Bolognese school of terracotta, to exhibitions of national importance on the theme of the nativity.
Under the sign of the porticos, which accompanied the candidature of the Bolognese porticos as a
Unesco Heritage, to Toys and Memories – Voices from the Past, presented as part of Art City White Night 2022.
The exhibition, set up at Palazzo ‘Casa dei Caprara’ – a fascinating container that opens its
its private spaces exclusively on the occasion of Art City – presents works ranging from sculpture, painting and
painting and graphic art, many of them previously unpublished (such as the bas-reliefs dedicated to Milan and Venice or the
sculptures dedicated to the theme of the artistic nude) .
