SCULTURE is the solo exhibition by Emanuele Becheri, a project that takes shape within the Municipal Art Collections, establishing a direct and silent dialogue with the museum’s historic spaces.
The essential title points to the core of the artist’s research, developed over more than a decade. The selected terracotta works are integrated into the permanent exhibition route, creating an ongoing dialogue between the contemporaneity of the artistic intervention and the past preserved in the galleries.
Heads, figures, self-portraits: presences suspended between introspection and humanity, one placed in each room and positioned at the center of the space. An exhibition layout that structures the visitor’s journey through pauses, stops, and moments of comparison, highlighting the relationship between sculpture, architecture, and viewer.
Each work thus becomes an individual encounter, in which silence and solitude are an integral part of the experience, inviting slow and focused observation.
The exhibition offers an essential reading of Becheri’s sculptural practice and a journey made of discreet presences, listening forms, and unexpected resonances with the space that hosts them.
