THE ART WITH THE LOOK AT THE INSÙ: THE EXHIBITION IN THE COMPLEX OF BARACCANO

The exhibition "Art with a gaze to the upside" is visible from June 25 to July 12, 2019 at the Baraccano complex, in the Elisabetta Possati museum hall.

Whenever we have visited a church, a basilica or a historic building our eyes have always lingered, as if they were "kidnapped", to admire the marvelous works that adorn the walls as frescoes and mosaics but also vaults, domes and ceilings that they contain secrets of incomparable value; that have made Italy the world capital of art.

Many times, however, some small details escape our gaze, which is why Voltecupolesoffitti.it proposes an initiative to make the history, art and architecture of places of great interest known to the public.

Every day from 09.00 to 13.00 for guided tours and free workshops for groups of children with reservations and from 15.00 to 19.00 with free admission.

Via Santo Stefano 119, Bologna.

DISCOVERING THE JEWISH GHETTO OF BOLOGNA

Until June 30th you can discover the Jewish Ghetto and its surroundings through the new edition of Cool-tour Street, paths of culture, art, history and memory of places.

Some works on paper by Mauro Kronstadiano Fiore will be visible in Via De 'Giudei, at the entrance to the former Jewish ghetto and a few steps from the two towers, at the La Tarlatana engraving and printing laboratory, Via De' Giudei 1 / C, Bologna.

The reading of the essay "The circus in the art" of Arianna of Genoa was very important for me to better specify the universe of the circus and the freak shows. In the small exhibition project Sideshow (secondary show, marginal which is associated with a circus, a funfair, a fair or other attractions) visions of this universe and those coming from other imaginaries, partly from me already crossed (Alice in Wonderland, Hieronymus Bosch, The Wizard of Oz. Etc.), often manifest themselves as a "tangle on the surface", without a center.
MKF.

Opening hours: every day from 10:00 to 13:00 and from 15:30 to 19:30. Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 15:00 to 19:30. Thursday and Sunday closed.
