From Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 March open doors for Cosmopack and Cosmo – Perfumery & Cosmetics, for producers and supply chain specialists, finished product companies, buyers and retailers for the Perfumery and Cosmetics, Green & Organic and Cosmoprime sectors , the area dedicated to high-end cosmetics.
From Friday 15 to Monday 18 March, space will be given to the professional channels of Cosmo – Hair & Nail & Beauty Salon, with the presence of salon owners and beauty centers, hairstylists, hairdressers, nail technicians and distributors specialized in these segments.
There will be 26 national collectives, representing the best of small and medium-sized enterprises in Austria, Belgium, California, Chile, China, Korea, United Arab Emirates, France, Germany, Japan, Greece, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Latvia, Pakistan, Poland , Romania, Spain, United States, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, UK. The stands will follow the division by sector, to facilitate the networking of buyers, distributors and retailers present in Bologna.
From March 14th to 18th at the service center a new exhibition will be set up, dedicated to the innovations brought by the genius of Leonardo da Vinci in the cosmetic field, in a journey to the origins of modern industry.
The installation, entitled “Leonardo Genio e Bellezza”, was born from the collaboration between Cosmoprof, Cosmetica Italia, the national association of cosmetic companies, and Accademia del Profumo, on the occasion of the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the artist’s death.
On display is a selection of reproductions of the codes with Leonardo da Vinci’s studies on the most advanced extraction techniques, still used today in the fragrance sector, on the most suitable plants and flowers for hair coloring, and on the most original hairstyles recommended for Renaissance ladies and visible in many of the master’s paintings.
THE BENEFIT INITIATIVE
The charity initiative of Cosmoprof is back, which for the 2019 edition will go on to support Strength and Smile, the social responsibility project sponsored by Cosmetica Italia, which helps women facing cancer to see themselves beautiful and to regain self-esteem and confidence in themselves with free beauty workshops throughout Italy. In exchange for a donation, visitors will receive a free assortment of products chosen from those on display at the installation in the Service Center.

“What is sustainability for you?” Will be the question that Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2019 will ask its visitors.
Within Cosmoprof Social Area, the public will be able to interact with the fair and live it in a more personal and engaging way, with technologies and installations that will allow them to share their experience at Cosmoprof on the event’s social channels.
